Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant for Saturdays.

In this vital role. Your expertise will support clinical operations, ensure accurate documentation.

Duties

• Assist physician with procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, updating medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly and compassionately
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems accurately to ensure seamless documentation of patient information
• Handle manual tasks such as patient transfers, specimen collection, and equipment sterilization with precision and safety
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program or institution
• Proven experience in critical care or acute care environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to surgical, plastic surgery.
• Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR management systems for accurate record-keeping
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CPR certification is essential
• Experience with manual handling techniques to safely transfer or reposition patients or equipment
• Prior exposure to cosmetic or surgical environments is a plus but not required

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
