Located at the Broward Sheriff's Office, South Florida Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab is a new modern facility equipped with the latest in Orthopedic Medical Technology.
To join our team, we are looking for a full time Physical Therapy Technician that is willing to commit to the facility for at least 8 months!
A Physical Therapy Technician performs direct and indirect patient care as assigned by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a neat and clean environment
- Assisting indirectly with patient care by insuring a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment
-Assisting with front desk duties as needed
-Providing guidance to patients throughout their physical therapy exercise programs
This position has direct interface with patients, their families and other members of the therapy team. This position will also entail working with the front desk and patients to gather success stories in efforts to increase quality of care and ensure adherence to plans of care.
