Job Description
We are a state-of-the-art General Dentistry practice located in the busy South Loop area of Chicago, seeking an energetic Dental Assistant to join our medium-sized team of 4-6 members.
This role involves high patient interaction in a dynamic environment where flexibility and collaboration are key.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and dental instruments for procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and treatment rooms
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during examinations and treatments
- Support radiography procedures and ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records and appointment scheduling
- Handle dental materials and manage inventory efficiently
- Implement strict infection control protocols
- Educate patients on dental care and post-treatment instructions
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to optimize patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited dental assistant program
- CPR certification
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control procedures
- Strong skills in chairside assistance and sterilization techniques
- Excellent patient communication and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic computer proficiency
