Accounting Assistant – Property Management
Location: Charleston, SC (Hybrid: 3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote)

Sharp Solutions is a growing property management company overseeing approximately 150 residential properties throughout the Charleston area. We pride ourselves on delivering responsive, high-quality service to both owners and tenants. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our internal financial operations and reporting processes.
Position Summary:
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, completing monthly reconciliations, and compiling financial performance packets for internal review. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and pay invoices related to:
- Utilities
- Rental repairs
- Rental turns
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Compile monthly owner packets summarizing property performance
- Track and organize expenses for internal reporting
- Assist with general accounting functions and administrative support tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in property management or accounting
- Familiarity with Buildium or similar property management software (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general bookkeeping practices
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
Work Schedule:
- Hybrid Role: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote (Charleston, SC-based candidates only)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
