Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Full-Time

Private Family Dental Practice – San Antonio, TX 78209 (Alamo Heights Area)

We are a busy, privately owned family dental practice in the Alamo Heights area seeking a motivated, dependable, and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team.

Our office is fast-paced and provides a high volume of same-day treatment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Office Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience
  • Experience with:
  • Crown & Bridge
  • Oral Surgery, including surgical extractions with bone grafting
  • Endodontics
  • Dental Implants (implant placement and implant-supported restorations)
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Chairside assisting for restorative, cosmetic, and advanced dental procedures
  • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining operatories
  • Educating patients on oral health and post-operative care
  • Assisting with treatment planning and light scheduling
  • Maintaining dental supplies and inventory
  • Keeping the office clean, organized, and efficient
  • Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive patient experience

Requirements:

  • Valid Texas RDA credentials are required and must be presented before a working interview.
  • Dental assisting experience is required. Medical assisting experience is not considered equivalent.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
