Event Emergency Medical Technician (Event EMT)
PART-TIME Opportunity

Join our dedicated team! We are seeking Event Emergency Medical Technicians (Event EMTs) to provide high-quality patient care and medical assistance. Your role will focus on responding promptly to medical requests, striving for excellence in patient treatment, and delivering compassionate customer service under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with medical treatment protocols and local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Drive Company vehicles responsibly while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-shift checks to ensure ambulances are ready and fully equipped.
- Report any discrepancies or mechanical issues to the Supervisor immediately.
- Perform thorough cleaning and restocking of ambulance at the end of each shift.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and services rendered accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare personnel while displaying empathy.
- Monitor and assess changes in patients’ conditions.
- Maintain clear communication with Dispatch and other responders regarding patient status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current EMT or Paramedic license and applicable State certifications.
- Must be at least 18 years old; prior experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Strong communication and listening skills; ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
- Valid Driver's License, State EMT certification, and CPR/BLS certifications are essential.
- Experience in special event operations and customer service is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience as an EMS provider preferred; 911 experience is a bonus.
Working Conditions:
Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role may involve long periods inside an ambulance, working both indoors and outdoors. Expect exposure to weather and moderate noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform various physical tasks including lifting over 200 lbs with assistance, and engaging in activities such as bending, reaching, and stair climbing.
Mental Requirements:
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform well in high-pressure situations.
