Under immediate direction, provides timely response of customer inquiries up to and including pick-ups, schedules, product orders, etc., and all other aspects of a customer's needs. Dispatches vehicles on a pre-set route for each CSR on a daily basis in the interest of efficient customer service. The Dispatcher also monitors compliance with company policies and federal and state regulations. Communicate driver issues with Customer Service, Transportation Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.

Assist Customer Service with customer requests, route changes, rescheduling for pickups/missed stops.

Provides highest level of customer service to all customers in line with Customer 1st objectives.

Assist walk-in customers area.

Ensure handheld entry back-up to mobile hub. Resolve/escalate issues related to handhelds/mobile hub.

Build and print routes for drivers daily, including but not limited to shipping documents, route sheets, barcode labels.

Review and updates routes, new customers based on daily communication, reroutes existing customers as required.

Download PDTs from previous night.

Monitors Company policies and procedures, communicating to staff, as necessary.

Communicate performance standards and objectives.

Monitors operations and work of all CSRs.

Perform any other administrative duties assigned by management.

High school diploma or GED

One or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant

Skills to use or ability to quickly learn programs and systems required for the job (Salesforce CRM, JJ Keller, Atlas routing software)

Demonstrates knowledge of computer software applications to include spreadsheets and word processing.

Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Visual acuity - Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as, preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, filing papers, operating a vehicle, etc.
