IAV is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Seat Design & Release Engineer for Interior Systems to support Interior Systems development. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and release of key seat system components for next-generation electric pickup trucks and rugged SUVs.
You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions from concept through production, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Essential Responsibilities & Activities:
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate data uploads into the systems
Manage part updates and changes to support manufacturability, performance, and system integration
Obtain B-release approval for complete seat system components
Ensure supplier tooling timelines align with program milestones
Support DV/PV testing and lead issue resolution for seat systems
Assist with supplier and onsite project builds.
Track and resolve open issues throughout all build phases
Ensure compliance with safety standards and U.S. regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement in system performance and customer experience
Support manufacturing readiness, including production processes and facility input
Manage supplier deliverables to meet cost, quality, and timing targets.
