The Audiologist I provides diagnostic audiological evaluations, interventions and family/caregiver consultation and education in all settings in which audiology services are offered including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and telehealth programs. The Audiologist I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP).
Saturdays are an expectation to start, with an opportunity to transition off of Saturdays eventually.
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts
physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology) and department quality assurance standards.
Collaborates with the family, physicians, schools and other educational institutions, and other providers to ensure the continuum of care for the child and optimal clinical services. Evaluates and treats children from birth to 21 years of age, across the continuum, with a variety of diagnoses, in specialized programs, on inpatient and/or outpatient units. Demonstrates leadership and participates in systematic, planned professional development to improve the clinical, educational, research, and advocacy goals of the department and hospital.
Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets.
EDUCATION - Master's degree in Audiology.
EXPERIENCE - One (1) year experience providing pediatric audiology services in pediatric setting.
LICENSURE - Current registration and licensure in Audiology by the State of Colorado; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment
