- Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Take direction from Event Managers, Culinary, Operation and Lead staff
- Attend pre‑shift meetings with event managers and team to review event briefing and timing
- Ensure the set-up in all service areas is executed in a timely manner, not limited to moving tables, chairs and equipment
- Identify opportunities and ensure that guest’s expectations are being met
- Maintain and be able to pass appetizers and beverages while providing guest services during cocktail hour
- Able to work with a dining room lead and team members to serve plated or strolling cuisine, pour water and wine tableside and support in a fine dining environment
- Deliver outstanding service throughout the event process
- Properly use and maintain service equipment at each event
- Practice lateral service and actively look for ways to help people
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time by management
- Work as a team member to ensure cleanliness at the end of the event in all service and culinary areas
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Previous experience in a banquet or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
