  • Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Take direction from Event Managers, Culinary, Operation and Lead staff
  • Attend pre‑shift meetings with event managers and team to review event briefing and timing
  • Ensure the set-up in all service areas is executed in a timely manner, not limited to moving tables, chairs and equipment
  • Identify opportunities and ensure that guest’s expectations are being met
  • Maintain and be able to pass appetizers and beverages while providing guest services during cocktail hour
  • Able to work with a dining room lead and team members to serve plated or strolling cuisine, pour water and wine tableside and support in a fine dining environment
  • Deliver outstanding service throughout the event process
  • Properly use and maintain service equipment at each event
  • Practice lateral service and actively look for ways to help people
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time by management
  • Work as a team member to ensure cleanliness at the end of the event in all service and culinary areas

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Previous experience in a banquet or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
