TempExperts is seeking a careful Forklift & Machine Operator to move heavy tonnage material for a well-established manufacturing company in Jacksonville, FL.

This employee will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate is a responsible individual with sit-down forklift experience moving heavy tonnage as well as assisting designated machine operators or production teams in a variety of functions including, but not limited to maintenance, clean up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, material-handling, and others..

Responsibilities:

• Unload and loading products from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Operating machinery or equipment as trained and instructed, following safety guidelines at all times.
• Handling assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned.
• Keeping work area clean: including machines, conveyors, machinery, floors, etc.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility.

In this role, you may be required to operate the following equipment:

• Hoppers
• Bagging and sealing machines.
• Forklift
• Palletizers
• Hydraulic equipment
• Powered tractors or vehicles
• Variety of hand tools

Requirements:

• Proven experience as forklift operator.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to follow company production or safety procedures and pass internal certification training.
• Provide your own steel-toed boots.
