Please note: This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Boise office (1444 S. Entertainment Ave., Boise, ID 83709).

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for commission based on meeting monthly targets. The On Target Earnings for this position is $104,000 if all commission is earned.

Job Summary

As a Factoring Account Consultant, you will consult with motor carriers to help them secure the money needed to grow their business. During each call, you will ask questions to learn about their current business situation, evaluate their goals and determine whether Factoring could improve their cash flow. Different from a loan, factoring is a form of financing in which we buy the carrier's payable invoices and pay them for their work before their customers cut them to check. We then buy the invoice and coll ect on its full value.

li">Consult with prospects to li">determine li"> your financial needs, provide expert guidance and pitch Truckstop.com Factoring services accordingly

li">Maintain lead / prospect sales records in the CRM database

li">Identify li"> new sources of prospects - prepare action plans and schedules to reach specific geographical regions, industries of prospective clients

li">Development a group of reliable referral sources

li">Assess prospective clients' Accounts Receivable Aging information to li">determine li"> relevant factoring options for their business

li">Work with multiple internal departments to create relevant financial services proposals and contracts for prospective clients

li">Work as a team in follow up on your customers' services and provide new service opportunities as needed

li">Work as a sales leader to refine sales tactics to meet / exceed monthly / quarterly / annual benchmark quota goals

li">Protect company and customer information li">in accordance with li"> company policies and procedures

Position Requirements

li">High school diploma or equivalent

li">Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and use of office equipment

li">Strong written and verbal communication skills

li">The ability to li">comprehend li">, retain and apply complex regulatory factoring information

li">Able to perform repetitive tasks

li">Good organization and record keeping skills li">required

li">Email, MS Office (Word Excel) CRM database skills li">required

li">Customer service experience preferred

li">Sales experience preferred - including persuasiveness, communication, energy, undeterred by rejection

li">Experience with transportation, factoring, financing, or banking preferred

Physical Demands:

Minimum physical exertion. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 5 pounds on a regular basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 75% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse.
