Machinist – Manual Milling (Bridgeport)
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract-to-Hire
We are looking for a skilled Machinist with hands-on experience operating manual Bridgeport milling machines . In this role, you will produce precision components from engineering drawings while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys working in a traditional machine shop environment.
Set up and operate manual Bridgeport mills to produce precision parts
Perform machining operations including milling, drilling, tapping, and boring
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Support lathe operations as needed
Proficiency in manual machining techniques (milling, drilling, tapping, boring)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience with both manual mills and lathes in a production environment
Exposure to basic machining programming or parameter adjustments
Experience in traditional/conventional machine shop environments
Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential
