Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist/Programmer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program a variety of CNC machines, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, to produce precision-engineered components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and quality in our manufacturing processes. Duties

  • Operate and set up CNC machines such as 3 to 5-axis CNC machines, CNC lathes, and CNC milling machines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM software , Master Cam, Fusion 360,Cimatron to produce complex parts with precision.
  • Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings while applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for accurate manufacturing.
  • Conduct precision measurements using bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments to verify part quality.
  • Perform tooling setup and adjustments for machining tools, ensuring proper geometry and tooling alignment for high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on machining processes, troubleshoot issues promptly, and optimize workflows following lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 2 to 5 years working as a CNC machinist or programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with CAM software for toolpath generation.
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining tools, tooling setups, geometry, and precision measurement instruments like micrometers and bore gauges.
  • Experience working with various machining equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, 3 to 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in production processes.
  • Strong math skills relevant to machining tolerances and measurement calculations.

Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
