Lead Firefighter

As a Lead Firefighter (GS-0081-09), you will take on the crucial role of Station Chief, overseeing and guiding the daily operations of a fire station that manages multiple firefighting crews. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and directing two or more firefighting crews, each comprising skilled Crew Chiefs and their respective teams.
• Ensuring the effective operation of complex firefighting vehicles.
• Conducting airfield and structural fire suppression and rescue operations.
• Implementing strategies to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards.
