Role Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), your duties involve:

  • Delivering meaningful physical therapy treatments within the community.
  • Executing physical therapy treatments as per established plans led by a Physical Therapist.
  • Skillfully and safely elevating patient treatment levels in alignment with patient capabilities.
  • Consulting with the supervising Physical Therapist on patient progress and condition changes.
  • Documenting treatments and significant patient interactions per company guidelines.
  • Educating patients and families on home programs and activities.
  • Establishing effective communication with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team.
  • Partnering with colleagues to enhance skills and bolster clinic culture.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
  • Enthusiasm to learn, expand skills, and make a difference - newcomers are welcome!
