About PostBite
PostBite is a fast-growing marketplace that connects local food creators with restaurants. Restaurants offer discounted meals, and creators post authentic social content tagging the restaurant in return. The pitch is simple and easy to sell: restaurants only pay when a creator actually walks through their door — no upfront cost, no monthly subscription, no risk.
We're launching across Minnesota and need motivated field reps to sign up restaurant partners, one location at a time.
The Role
This is a true door-to-door / outside sales role. You'll walk into local restaurants, talk to owners and managers, explain how PostBite drives foot traffic at zero upfront cost, and close them as partners on the spot or through quick follow-up.
If you love being out in the field, talking to people, and getting paid for results instead of hours, this is for you.
What You'll Do
- Visit restaurants in person across your assigned area (cafés, fast-casual, family-owned spots, local chains)
- Pitch PostBite's no-risk partner model to owners and decision-makers
- Sign up new restaurant partners and help them get set up on the platform
- Hit and beat weekly sign-up targets
- Keep simple notes on your visits and pipeline
- Represent PostBite professionally as the face of the brand in your market
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable with face-to-face, door-to-door selling (and the occasional "no")
- Self-motivated and disciplined — you run your own schedule
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone
- Prior outside/field sales experience (solar, merchant services, B2B, restaurant or food service) is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right hustler
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation
100% commission, uncapped — paid in two parts for every restaurant you bring on.
- $35 when a restaurant signs up and goes live on PostBite
- $40 when that restaurant completes its first order — $75 total per fully onboarded restaurant
- Milestone bonuses on top of your per-restaurant commission:
- $150 when you reach 10 onboarded restaurants
- $250 when you reach 25 onboarded restaurants
- $500 when you reach 50 onboarded restaurants
- $1,000 when you reach 100 onboarded restaurants
- Paid [weekly / biweekly]
- This is a 1099 independent contractor role — you set your own hours and approach to your territory
Earnings are commission-based and depend on individual performance. This is not a salaried position.
