Social Worker LCSW

Overview

Provides psychotherapy for both inpatient and outpatient, individual, couples, group and/or family services to improve or maintain the social, emotional, functional, and physical health status of the client. Works in collaboration with client and/or family, physician, other staff and other community services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate appropriate treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapy in inpatient and outpatient settings to individuals, couples, groups, and/or families.
• Collaborate with clients and/or families, physicians, staff, and community services to assess needs, plan treatment, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Engage in treatment planning and follow-up to support clients’ social, emotional, functional, and physical health.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Alaska Clinical Social Worker License (upon hire).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy.
