Job Description:
- Days of Work/Shift Rotation - if pertinent: The employee will be assigned to a rotating schedule that begins at 5:00 AM and ends at 5:30 PM
- Week one consists of six working days, taking place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while Wednesday is a day off
- The middle of the second week consists of Tuesday and Wednesday, with Monday being a break day and Thursday through Sunday rounding out the rest of the week
- Over a period of 14 days, the average working hours for an employee is 96.
Compensation:
The payment for this job opportunity ranges from $32.00 to lower rates depending on the experience level of the candidate. There are also added local incentives such as referral bonuses and an extra week of pay.
General Purpose
The individual in this position has the responsibility of leading a group, troubleshooting, and delivering quick preventive and corrective Maintenance Trainee to production lines, as well as assisting in change-over.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively maintain and repair equipment by routinely checking for issues and carrying out preventative measures.
- Substitue and arrange up-to-date machinery.
- Skilled engineers are known for their ability to rebuild and fabricate parts with greater precision and accuracy.
- Undertake maintenance of the facility and foster a clean and safe workspace.
- Regularly Review the Parts Inventory: Finally, it is important to regularly review the parts inventory, analyze the sales trends, and make changes to the inventory levels and reorder points, as required. This will help ensure that the business has a healthy inventory level at all times.
- Respond promptly to any questions or concerns raised by customers or team members regarding work orders.
- Facilitate the replacement of machinery and the adjustment of assembly lines.
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates must have attained a High School diploma or an equivalent certificate.
- Having a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational line of work is the preferred qualification.
- The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 0-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- It is desirable to have at least one year of mechanical and electrical experience.
- The ideal candidate should possess a background in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Former work in a rapid industry context.
- Possessed a commendable ability in dealing with mechanical and technical challenges.
- Basic computer skills.
- The ability to follow the precise instructions and plans provided by the producer.
- Having experience in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is beneficial.
- The provision of hand tools may be deemed indispensable.
