Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Labor & Delivery Assignment

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) position based in Madison, Wisconsin. The assignment is exclusively dedicated to the Labor & Delivery unit and requires specialized obstetric surgical experience alongside national certification and prior travel history.

Assignment Specifications

• Weekly Commitment: 36 hours (three 12-hour shifts)
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, inclusive of holiday rotation
• On-Call Obligation: None

Credentialing & Qualification Requirements

• Unit Assignment (Exclusive to L&D) This position is restricted to Labor & Delivery; no general surgery assignments
• OB/GYN Surgical Experience (Required) Direct experience in obstetric and gynecological surgical procedures
• Travel Assignment History (Required) Prior travel experience is mandatory for consideration
• EPIC EMR Proficiency (Required) Demonstrated competency in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• BLS Certification (Required) Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
• National CST Certification (Required) Valid certification through NCCT or NBSTSA
