ABOUT CREATURE COFFEE
Creature Coffee Catering is looking for super awesome baristas to make coffee at the best events in and around Seattle, Bellevue, and Tacoma. We're experts at bringing high-quality Specialty Coffee to the people, keeping Seattle caffeinated at private parties, weddings, and corporate events. RESPONSIBILITIES
- To safely transport and set up mobile espresso carts, anywhere and everywhere
- To arrive promptly at scheduled events
- To provide friendly and professional service to our clients and their guests
- To provide the highest quality specialty coffee beverages this towns ever seen
- To be an ambassador for Creature Coffee, making friends and delicious coffee all over
- To be an adaptable event professional, with an understanding of client needs and a level-headed make-it-work attitude
- To keep a clean and visually stunning coffee bar
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Continually required to stand and walk
- Frequently required to lift, bend, stoop, or kneel
- Must lift and move more than 50 pounds, like large ice chests and La Marzocco espresso machines
QUALIFICATIONS
•
Two years of Specialty Coffee experience preferred
- Experience and proficiency with standard specialty coffee espresso preparation standards and latte art - tulip stacking is essential!
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for specialty coffee
- Great communication skills with coworkers, clients, and their guests
- Every week is different, must be happy to work early mornings and late nights when required
- Excellent time management and 100% reliable
- Creature baristas are kind, adaptable, engaging, and professional
- Posi vibes are a must!
- Must have at least 3+ days of availability per week
- Food Workers Card + Alcohol Server Card
YOU GET
- $22-$25/hr + tips (additional $5-10/hr)
- Flexible scheduling, ability to pick up shifts Mon-Sun as needed
Paid on-the-job training, learning how to set up our various coffee carts, troubleshoot equipment issues, dial in and brew coffee, and get calibrated to the Creature Coffee way
