Automotive Detailer - Florence Buick GMC

Overview

Florence Buick GMC is adding to our detailing team! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Detailer/Lot Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive detailing, with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As the Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for overseeing the detailing team, ensuring all vehicles are detailed to the highest standards, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of detailing services, including interior and exterior detailing
• Wash, vacuum, and help prepare vehicles for customer delivery or display
• Buff vehicles as needed to improve their appearance and presentation
• Shampoo vehicle interiors and remove stains from seats, carpet, and upholstery
• Assist with fueling vehicles and checking that vehicles are ready for test drives
• Report any vehicle damage, dead batteries, low tires, or other concerns to management
• Support the dealership team with general day-to-day operational needs
• Inspect vehicles to ensure all work meets our quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in automotive detailing
• Expertise in applying PPF, and other advanced detailing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, reach, grab with arms
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
