CNC Machinist

06 months (Temp to hire)

Shift: 2nd 2:30pm-11:00pm

Ability to read, interpret and understand work in-process documents

Basic computer knowledge required

Provides accurate feedback to the department supervisor pertaining to quality issues

Lean skills continually drives process improvements

Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing

High School diploma or equivalent

Four (4) years of experience in machining, measuring equipment, CNC set-up and program editing

Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English

Adhere to standard machining practices while complying with company standards for quality and quantity of work

Restore parts to blueprint or customer requirements

Perform safety procedures and general daily housekeeping

Set up and operate assigned CNC machines

Meet all requirements of CNC/Manual operator

Required editing of existing programs

Maintain production standards and quality

Assist and train CNC/Manual operators

Perform basic part programming, including tool selection, speeds/feeds, and other pertinent operatives as required

Assist in the training of other operators

Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements

Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when required

R&D of new programming

Perform other tasks in the facility, as needed
