Are you a welcoming, organized, and service-minded professional who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors, alumni, students, and campus partners? The IU Alumni Association is looking for a Welcome Center Coordinator to support the DeVault Alumni Center and help create an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

In this full-time role, you’ll serve as a front-line representative of IUAA, providing customer service, answering questions, connecting visitors with university resources, and supporting day-to-day Welcome Center operations. You’ll also assist with administrative coordination, maintain accurate records in university systems, support executive office operations, and serve as a key building manager contact for the DeVault Alumni Center.

What you’ll do:

Welcome and assist alumni, students, visitors, staff, and stakeholders

Respond to inquiries and connect people with IU, IU Foundation, and IUAA programs and services

Provide professional customer service and help resolve routine concerns

Maintain accurate data and records in IU Advancement CRM and related systems

Support communication and coordination across IUAA, IU Foundation, IU schools, and campus partners

Assist with executive office and operational needs

Coordinate day-to-day building operations, facility requests, access needs, and safety-related processes

We’re looking for someone who brings:

A strong customer service mindset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail

Strong organization and time-management skills

The ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and standard office systems

A collaborative spirit and commitment to creating a welcoming environment

Minimum qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and at least two years of relevant experience.

The compensation range for this position is $40,000- $42,000 annually, commensurate with experience.  This role is onsite Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This role will be posted for 10 days minimum but may remain open longer.
