Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office or department. This role supports managers and staff through a variety of tasks related to organization, communication, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications
Manage schedules, appointments, and calendars for staff or leadership
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital)
Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and minutes
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
Order and maintain office supplies inventory
Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and basic bookkeeping tasks
Support onboarding and HR-related administrative tasks as needed
Make travel arrangements and prepare itineraries
Provide general support to visitors and staff
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Preferred Skills
Experience with office management systems or ERP software
Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
Familiarity with scheduling tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom)
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Beavercreek, OH.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
