Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a developing caseload of middle and potentially elementary students
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of interventions and student improvement
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to both group and individual needs
- Contribute to IEP meetings and serve as a speech-language resource within the school community
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; Kansas SLP license must be presented with application
- Professional experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and compliance requirements
- Ability to adapt communication strategies to meet students diverse needs
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
