Experience is not required — intelligence, ownership, and willingness to learn are.
We are open to candidates transitioning from other industries such as healthcare, hospitality, administration, logistics, construction coordination, customer operations, or other fast-paced environments. Direct property management experience is helpful, but not required. We care far more about reliability, adaptability, communication, judgment, and willingness to learn.
Our company is growing, and we’re hiring a Property Operations Coordinator / Assistant Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of apartment buildings across Broward County (Fort Lauderdale, Pompano, Miramar, Dania, etc.).
This is not a desk job or office-only role. This is a hands-on field operations position where you will spend most of your day travelling between properties, conducting inspections, overseeing vendors, coordinating unit turns, solving operational issues, and making sure work gets completed properly and on time.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- enjoys being out in the field instead of sitting at a desk all day
- likes solving problems in real time
- takes ownership and follows through
- is organized and proactive
- wants to grow into operations or management
What You’ll Do
- Conduct on-site property visits and inspections across your assigned portfolio
- Oversee unit turns from move-out to move-in readiness
- Coordinate vendors and ensure work is completed on time and to standard
- Verify quality of repairs, timelines, and scope completion
- Document inspections with photos and same-day system updates (Buildium & trackers)
- Track maintenance progress, violations, and operational priorities
- Coordinate access, scheduling, and logistics with vendors and tenants
- Provide daily updates and proactively escalate issues
- Work closely with the Property Management and Service Coordination teams
- Help identify operational problems before they become bigger issues
Who Thrives in This Role
- You take ownership and follow through
- You are organized and detail-oriented
- You communicate clearly and proactively
- You are resourceful and think critically instead of waiting for instructions
- You stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities well
- You are comfortable holding vendors accountable professionally
- You enjoy field work, operations, coordination, and problem-solving
- You like learning new systems and improving processes
What You’ll Need
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (daily travel required)
- Comfortable driving throughout Broward County
- Tech-savvy and organized
- Comfortable using apps, trackers, and systems daily
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in operations, coordination, logistics, hospitality, healthcare administration, construction, customer service, or related fields is a plus
- Property management experience is helpful but not required. CAM License NOT required.

Tools You’ll Use
- Buildium (property & task management)
- HappyCo (inspections)
- ClockShark (time tracking)
- Google Drive & internal trackers
- RingCentral (communication)
Compensation & Schedule
- $24/hour-$28/hour + performance based incentives
- Mileage reimbursement for eligible routes
- Up to 21 paid days off per year
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No late nights
- Paid training with structured processes and support
- Long-term growth opportunities into management and operations leadership roles
Why Join Mayfair

- Strong team communication and support
- Real ownership and responsibility
- Fast-paced environment where your work has direct impact
- Opportunity to grow into Property Manager or Operations Lead roles
- A company that values initiative, problem-solving, and accountability over simply “years of experience”
