We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to provide treatment and service coordination for clients in our Adult and Children's Inpatient Units.
We are hiring for BOTH Adult and Children Units. Full-Time Position!
As a Master's Level Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide individual, family and group therapy and assessments, as well as coordinate effective discharge and follow-up care.
Responsibilities
As a Master's Level Mental Health Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations for new and existing clients
- Develop and maintain a written treatment plan for each client
- Conduct individual and multi-client therapy activities
- Lead and participate with team members in appropriate treatment interventions
- Conduct education, lecture and group discussions with clients and family members
- Coordinate written assignments and individual goal setting activities with clients
- Coordinate and participate in weekly treatment team meetings
- Ensure that appropriate discharge planning and aftercare services are provided for assigned clients
- Prepare written documentation for each service conducted
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling is required
- Two (2) years’ experience working with Adults/children/adolescents
- Must be able to apply therapeutic effective aggression management techniques without limitations
