Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and lawn care to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Lead a team of crew members by providing clear instructions, training on equipment use, safety protocols, and best practices in landscaping and horticulture.
- Conduct inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing repair or improvement, including tree care, gardening tasks, or construction adjustments.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules to keep tools and machinery in optimal condition for safe operation.
- Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand project scope, deliver high-quality results, and address any concerns promptly.
- Promote safety standards by enforcing proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures during all operations.
Skills
- Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping techniques, and lawn care practices.
- Proven supervising experience with strong leadership skills to motivate teams and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor environments, including planting beds, pathways, and hardscape features.
- Expertise in tree care practices such as pruning, trimming, planting, and disease management.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for water efficiency.
- Solid understanding of gardening principles and horticulture to select appropriate plants for various environments.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively while maintaining a positive work atmosphere. Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
