Analyze manufacturing throughput and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and production flow
Improve process yield by reducing unnecessary movement, delays, and rework throughout production operations
Conduct time studies and process clocking analysis to optimize cycle times and labor utilization
Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on layout optimization and waste reduction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and operational performance
Evaluate current production layouts and recommend changes to improve efficiency, material flow, and throughput
Identify root causes of production inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
Monitor key manufacturing performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making
Support process improvements across glass cutting, glass polishing, gluing, and sealing operations
Assist in developing standardized work instructions and best manufacturing practices
Participate in process validation, troubleshooting, and implementation of operational improvements
Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience performing time studies, process flow analysis, and manufacturing optimization
Knowledge of throughput analysis, cycle time reduction, and yield improvement strategies
Experience with manufacturing layout design and workflow optimization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational bottlenecks
Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments preferred
Familiarity with glass manufacturing processes such as cutting, polishing, gluing, or sealing is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing data analysis tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred

What will your role be?
We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on improving manufacturing throughput, process yield, and overall operational efficiency across production lines. You will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Production teams to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, optimize workflows, and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives that improve process flow and cycle time performance.
This position is heavily focused on process optimization, layout improvement, and time measurement management, with an emphasis on analyzing manufacturing flow, reducing unnecessary movement, and improving productivity throughout operations. You will evaluate process “clocking,” labor utilization, and workflow efficiency to support continuous improvement initiatives and drive measurable operational gains.
