The Role

We're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to set up, operate, and maintain press brake equipment, forming precision parts to exact engineering specifications. You'll play a key role in our production process, ensuring every part meets tight tolerances and AS9100 quality standards.

What You'll Do

  • Set up, operate, and break down press brake machines per job specifications
  • Review router operations and customer prints to confirm part requirements and tolerances
  • Form parts using correct bend deductions and tooling; flag discrepancies to management before proceeding
  • Perform set-up, first-piece, and subsequent inspections per AS9100 standards
  • Maintain batch control and inspect parts per router-assigned batch sizes
  • Submit completed orders for final quality inspection
  • Accurately complete router paperwork and clock in/out for each operation
  • Communicate proactively with management on job timing, issues, or delays
  • Perform bend tests and report accurate results to engineering
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and annual machine maintenance per the Press Brake Checklist
  • Maintain proper use and care of tools (calipers, dies, etc.) in compliance with AS9100
  • Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
  • Operate forklift safely and in accordance with training guidelines, when required

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred; press brake experience a plus
  • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and tolerances
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; ratios and percentages)
  • Comfortable using precision measuring tools such as calipers
  • Willingness to learn manufacturing software (ProfitFab, Metacam) — training provided
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset
