Vonte’s Philly Cheesesteaks is looking for dependable, hardworking, and motivated Grill Cooks & Fry Cooks to join our team as we open our new brick-and-mortar restaurant in Fort Worth.
We’re looking for team members who take pride in preparing quality food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to grow with a locally owned restaurant that’s building something special.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cheesesteaks, fries, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate the flat-top grill, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and served in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Assist with food prep, stocking, inventory, and opening/closing duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure fast, accurate service.
- Help create a positive kitchen environment focused on teamwork and quality.
Qualifications
- Previous grill, fry, line cook, or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
