Description - What You'll Be Involved In

• Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis whenever necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Foster a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent health-related degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Must maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
