Controller (CPA Required)

Leading the company's accounting operations, the full-time remote Controller (CPA Required) will manage financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance while serving as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team. Key responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and budgeting across various business initiatives Develop and maintain strong financial controls and policies while leading a high-performing accounting and finance team Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership roles such as Controller or Senior Director Experience in consumer packaged goods or related industries, with knowledge of mass market retailers and digital commerce platforms Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, with experience in trade spend and inventory accounting Advanced technology skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems and BI tools like Power BI
