CV Resources is partnering with a well?established, privately held organization to identify a Senior Accountant to join its Tucson?based team. This is a full?time, onsite role supporting a stable accounting function within a collaborative, professional environment.

This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting leadership with financial reporting, and ensuring the integrity of the month?end close process. The Senior Accountant will also provide oversight and guidance to other team members as needed.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing core accounting activities, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy across the general ledger. This role requires prior experience owning close processes and reviewing the work of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage month?end close activities
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Review general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support tax?related accounting and reporting activities
• Assist with preparation of management and board?level reporting
• Provide oversight and review of other team members’ work
• Partner with leadership on ad hoc accounting and reporting needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Prior experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Experience overseeing or reviewing the work of other accounting staff
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and close processes
• Background supporting tax, partnership, or property?related accounting
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team

Location

• Full?time, onsite position in Tucson, AZ

Compensation & Benefits

• $80,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience
