As a Special Agent, you will tackle a variety of responsibilities in both investigations and protection, potentially working in multiple locations across the U.S. and beyond. Key duties include:
- Delivering protection for a range of designated individuals.
- Conducting criminal investigations focused on the financial responsibilities of the U.S.
- Planning and executing security measures for National Special Security Events.

Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Ability to carry and utilize a firearm, maintaining proficiency is essential.
- At least 21 years of age at the time of application and under 37 years old when receiving a conditional employment offer, with exceptions for prior federal law enforcement service.
- Must obtain and uphold a Top Secret Clearance throughout your career.
- Uncorrected visual acuity must be no worse than 20/100 binocular; corrected vision should be 20/20 or better in each eye.
- Hearing loss, as defined by an audiometer, should not exceed 25 decibels in either ear at the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges.
- Must pass a drug test prior to appointment and comply with random drug testing thereafter.
- Completion of 13 weeks of rigorous training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA, followed by 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
- Willingness to sign a mobility agreement to accept assignments anywhere in the U.S. and overseas.
- If male and born after December 31, 1959, you must confirm registration with the Selective Service System or state your exemption status.
