Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Qualifications • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or an equivalent combination of licensure and experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• Audiometry and vision training certification, or a CHDP certificate within six months of hire, preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Requirements • Recent experience with both EPIC and Cerner electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.

• Ability to perform non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or nurse midwife.
• Current BLS certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• Day shift position, 40 hours per week.
• No requested time off (RTO) during the assignment.
• Start date is fixed and must be honored.
