Location: White Marsh, MD

Pay Rate: $15.00–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time

CHNS Training and Staffing Services is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Healthcare Office Receptionist to join our growing team. This position serves as the first point of contact for applicants, employees, clients, and visitors while providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, applicants, employees, and clients in a professional manner

Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails

Schedule appointments, interviews, orientations, and meetings

Maintain and update employee and applicant records

Assist with onboarding paperwork and new hire documentation

Support recruitment and administrative processes as needed

Maintain accurate filing systems and office records

Assist with data entry and document management

Monitor office supplies and coordinate ordering when needed

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements

Support HR and management with various administrative tasks

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

1–2 years of receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or healthcare office experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Professional demeanor and positive attitude

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred

Preferred Experience:

Healthcare agency, home care, staffing, medical office, or HR support experience

Experience handling employee or applicant documentation

Familiarity with scheduling systems, databases, or applicant tracking systems
