POSITION PROFILE: The Payroll Manager ensures that the bi-weekly payroll and associated processes for The Company are accurate and completed on a timely basis. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all jurisdictional regulations. This is a hands-on, working manager role. In addition, this role is responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness. RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily Prepare and Send Staffing Sheets to Producers Enter Event Hours into ADP Collect and enter Pre-Event Hours into ADP Bi-Weekly Process & Approve Payroll Calculate Harvard Wage Benefit Parity Pension Review HAM Café & Kitchen Differentials Review HAM CBA employees that worked events Update Salary, Payroll & Accrual Spreadsheets Create ADP Worksheets (Salary, Retro, Gratuity, BPL, Sunday, Venue tips, Early Morning Incentives, Travel Incentives, Commissions) Reconcile Payroll Register with Data Entry Download ADP Reports Distribute Paychecks Start new Payroll (after paychecks have been received) Bi-Weekly OTHER DUTIES Calculate and Process 401K Match & Hours Coordinate PARs (Personnel Action Records with Human Resources) Calculate ICA, HAM, BA Special Event Tips June Process Harvard CBA Rate Changes Process BPL Living Wage Rate Changes (01/01) Any other duties and responsibilities necessary to achieve the mission PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Accounting degree preferred 2 + years of bookkeeping experience JOB KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIRED Competent in the use of ADP Competent in the use of Microsoft Office QuickBooks knowledge preferred
