We’re Hiring a Senior Project Manager — But Only If You’re Built for This

Our Vision

Eaton Construction is targeting a large expansion over the next five years, with a focused push across the Southeast. We are intentionally balancing public-sector work with national brand and repeat private clients, while preparing to launch five satellite offices across the region.

This role goes far beyond managing projects.

It’s about helping build the systems, standards, and leadership infrastructure of a company scaling into a multi-market construction platform.

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who isn’t afraid of high standards, complex work, or long hours — someone who wants above-average pay, above-average benefits, and above-average expectations.

Who You Are

You’re not just experienced — you’re highly capable, technical, and proven under pressure.

  • You have deep experience with project manuals, specifications, and contract documents, and you know how to interpret, enforce, and leverage them to protect the project and the company
  • You understand CSI MasterFormat and can confidently structure scopes, bid packages, and trade coordination
  • You’ve successfully run complex commercial projects — and multiple at the same time
  • You are highly technology-driven:
  • You’ve heavily applied platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud or Procore — not just used them, but operated projects through them
  • You’re comfortable with Excel-based bid tabulations, scheduling tools, and structured workflows
  • You believe process, documentation, and systems are non-negotiable
  • You communicate clearly, lead decisively, and hold the line on standards

You don’t just manage work — you build structure, enforce discipline, and elevate performance.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Full ownership of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through close-out
  • Managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with control and consistency
  • Driving schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and documentation with precision
  • Interpreting and enforcing project manuals, specs, and contract requirements
  • Structuring scopes and trade packages using CSI MasterFormat standards
  • Leading buyout, procurement, subcontract execution, and cost control
  • Running OAC meetings, owner communication, and internal reporting at a high level
  • Proactively identifying risk and solving problems before they surface
  • Delivering projects safely, profitably, and on time — without excuses

Leadership Expectations

This is not just a project role — it’s a leadership seat.

You will be expected to:

  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Help build and enforce company-wide systems, standards, and workflows
  • Drive consistency across projects, teams, and future offices
  • Lead from the front in a high-accountability, high-performance culture
  • Be a trusted operator when projects, people, or processes get difficult

This role is a clear fast-track opportunity to Director of Construction as the company scales and that position opens.

What This Role Really Means

Let’s be direct:

  • This is a 50-hour minimum workweek — and more when the job demands it
  • If you want a slow-paced environment, this isn’t it
  • If you want predictability over performance, this isn’t it
  • If you avoid ownership or complexity, this isn’t it

This role is for someone who:

  • Wants to win — consistently and at scale
  • Thrives under pressure, complexity, and high expectations
  • Takes full ownership without being asked
  • Understands great companies are built on systems, discipline, and strong leadership
  • Wants to help build one of the fastest-growing GC firms in the Southeast

The Reward

  • Top-tier compensation including annual and project bonuses
  • Above-average benefits
  • A direct path into senior leadership
  • The opportunity to help shape the systems, people, and performance of a rapidly scaling company
  • A real shot at stepping into the Director of Construction role

If you’re the kind of Senior PM who brings technical depth, leadership presence, discipline, and ambition — we want to talk.

If you’re not, that’s okay.

But this isn’t the role for you.
