Responsibilities: Perform structural and cosmetic repairs to vehicle bodies. Conduct damage assessments and determine necessary repair procedures. Repair or replace damaged body panels, including fenders, doors, hoods, and bumpers. Perform frame straightening and alignment using specialized equipment. Weld and bond vehicle structures and panels according to manufacturer specifications. Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming. Mix and match automotive paints to achieve precise color matches. Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat using spray guns in a controlled environment. Buff, polish, and wax painted surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish. Conduct quality checks throughout the repair and painting process. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper care of tools and equipment. Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental policies. Collaborate with estimators and insurance adjusters to ensure accurate repair cost estimates. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Body and Paint Technician. Proven expertise in both structural repair and cosmetic finishing. Proficiency with frame straightening equipment, welding tools, and automotive paint systems. Strong knowledge of automotive materials and repair techniques. Excellent color matching and spray painting skills. Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and diagrams.
