Position 1: Pediatric Speech Pathologist
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Speech Pathologist at Viva Therapy, you will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for children with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote each child's communication success.. Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluations.
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for children with speech and language disorders.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s development.
Maintain detailed progress notes and provide regular updates on treatment goals.
Participate in family education and support programs to improve at-home therapy strategies.
Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology.
ASHA Certification (or eligibility) preferred.
Previous experience in pediatric speech therapy is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to working with children and families.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
Position 2: Pediatric Physical Therapist (DPT)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Viva Therapy, you will assess, evaluate, and provide therapy services to children with physical, developmental, neuromuscular, and orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote mobility, independence, and overall functional development. Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, posture, and functional mobility in children.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluations and individual goals.
Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions to children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and physical impairments.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s development and functional outcomes.
Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and regular updates on treatment goals and outcomes.
Educate families and caregivers on exercises, positioning, mobility strategies, and home programs to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and developments in pediatric physical therapy.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist.
Strong knowledge of child development, motor milestones, and pediatric treatment techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to working with children and families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
