BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Essex County Visits team based in Livingston, NJ. This part-time or full-time opportunity offers the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while providing one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients throughout Essex County.

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you'll help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life by delivering individualized therapy in the comfort of their homes. You'll collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled occupational therapy services through home visits within designated territories.

Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, including strength, endurance, coordination, cognition, communication, and activities of daily living (ADLs and IADLs).

Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence, safety, and functional outcomes.

Assess home environments for safety concerns and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment to support independent living.

Identify and recommend assistive devices and environmental adaptations to improve patient function and quality of life.

Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote safety and independence.

Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.

Accurately document evaluations, interventions, and patient progress using electronic medical records and tablet technology.

Qualifications:

Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license.

Minimum of one year of recent Occupational Therapy experience.

Prior home health experience preferred but not required.

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.

Electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred.

Compensation:

$65.00–$70.00 per point , based on experience and qualifications.
