Middle School Teacher (Grades 6–8) – Georgia Certified | Full-Time

Legacy Heights Academy is hiring a Full-Time Middle School Teacher (Grades 6–8) for July 2026. We are seeking a Georgia-certified educator who can maintain strong classroom structure, deliver rigorous instruction, and support students’ academic and social-emotional growth.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Start Date: July 2026

Work Location: In-person, Augusta, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction for Grades 6–8 (subject/grade placement based on school needs)
• Establish clear classroom expectations, routines, and positive behavior supports based on Christian principles
• Differentiate instruction and provide small-group/individual support as needed
• Use assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction
• Communicate consistently with families and school leadership
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school culture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification
• Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Middle school teaching experience (Grades 6–8)
• Strength in one or more core areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies)

Compensation

• Hourly pay, based on experience and qualifications
