This role will work from home and can be located in any of the 21 states in the United States where Rise Against Hunger currently operates.
About the Role
The Director, Corporate Growth is responsible for driving growth in unrestricted corporate revenue through the acquisition of new corporate partners. This role leads the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and onboarding of new corporate relationships that advance Rise Against Hunger's mission while generating sustainable revenue.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in business development, corporate fundraising, sales, strategic partnerships, or related fields.
Demonstrated success securing new six-figure corporate partnerships or equivalent business development outcomes.
Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Experience managing a complex sales or fundraising pipeline.
Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal development skills.
What You Will Own
50% Corporate Partnership Acquisition
Develop and execute an annual corporate acquisition strategy aligned with organizational revenue goals.
Identify, research, and qualify prospective corporate partners that align with Rise Against Hunger's mission and partnership priorities.
Secure introductory meetings, discovery calls, and relationship-building engagements with prospective partners.
Close new corporate partnerships that generate unrestricted revenue and long-term organizational value.
25% Strategic Relationship Development
Cultivate executive-level relationships with prospective corporate partners.
Collaborate with senior leadership to facilitate introductions and advance strategic opportunities.
Represent Rise Against Hunger at networking events, conferences, and industry engagements to identify and develop new partnership opportunities.
Ensure a seamless transition of newly acquired partners into ongoing stewardship and account management processes.
15% Pipeline Management and Revenue Forecasting
Maintain an active portfolio of approximately 100–150 prospects and 25–40 qualified opportunities.
Track prospect movement through the sales cycle and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
Monitor and report on pipeline health, forecasting, and revenue projections.
10% Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop lead generation campaigns and prospect engagement strategies.
Collaborate with Market Development Managers and Meal Program leadership to leverage warm leads and identify corporate opportunities.
Partner with the Multi-Site Engagement Team to evaluate and pursue new partnership opportunities, ensuring seamless coordination across prospect engagement, event execution, and partner experience.
