Senior Loan Counselor

To support effective loan recovery efforts, the full-time Senior Loan Counselor will engage with delinquent borrowers, negotiate repayment arrangements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely. Key responsibilities Initiate proactive contact with borrowers to reestablish payment patterns and reduce defaults Negotiate and restructure repayment plans, ensuring alignment with investor and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize collection efforts and provide updates on portfolio performance Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in collections and default loan servicing is required Experience with ICE Mortgage Technology platforms, including MSP, is highly required Knowledge of investor and insurer guidelines preferred Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications required
