Are you the person who keeps a job site running right? The one crews trust and customers remember? LOVING is hiring a Field Manager and we are looking for someone ready to lead from the ground up.
Who We Are
LOVING is a full-service landscape, hardscape, sod, and outdoor living company serving residential and commercial clients across the Carolinas. We build outdoor spaces people actually live in, and we do it with crews who take pride in the work, leaders who show up, and a company growing fast enough to create real opportunity for the right people.
We operate with high standards and a culture that takes care of its people. If you want to work somewhere your effort is visible every day and your growth is genuinely on the table, keep reading.
Why This Role Matters
This is one of the most important roles at LOVING. The Field Manager is the connection point between our crews, our customers, and our leadership team every single day. Projects get done right because of this role. Crews stay focused and motivated because of this role. Customers trust LOVING because of this role.
This is not a desk job and it is not a clipboard position. This is on-site, hands-on leadership that sets the standard for what LOVING quality looks and feels like on the ground.
What You'll Own
Lead assigned crews across active landscape, hardscape, and sod job sites, keeping work on track, people accountable, and quality protected from start to finish.
Conduct pre-site inspections, walk the scope, assess conditions, and get ahead of anything that could create a problem before the crew arrives.
Walk every completed site and verify the work meets LOVING's standards and the customer's expectations before anything is closed out.
Serve as the on-site representative of LOVING, handling customer questions, concerns, and changes with professionalism and a consistent sense of urgency.
Coach and develop crew members in real time, delivering feedback that builds skills, raises performance, and helps the right people grow into bigger roles.
Own all documentation including timesheets, job tickets, work orders, and production reports, and ensure everything is closed out accurately and on time.
Hold the team to equipment care and safety standards that protect people, protect gear, and reflect the operational discipline LOVING is known for.
Bring field insight back to leadership and contribute to ongoing improvements in job-site processes, crew productivity, and quality standards.
Take on additional work when the business calls for it, particularly when it strengthens the team, protects quality, or reflects LOVING's values of ownership, craftsmanship, and service.
