, this position plays a key role in producing precision-machined components across industries such as defense, oil & gas, automotive, and food & beverage with a strong focus on quality, problem-solving, and hands-on machining development.The Work You'll Be DoingIn this role, you will:

Set up and operate CNC lathes (not a button-pushing position)Load, run, and make basic edits to CNC programs at the machineSet tooling, adjust offsets, and establish basic workholdingRun a mix of prototype and short-run production jobsPerform first-article and in-process inspectionRead and interpret G-code to understand machine behaviorTroubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain qualityWork closely with experienced machinists to build setup skillsMachines, Controls & SoftwareYou'll work with equipment such as:
