JOB OVERVIEW

In this role, your key responsibility is to ensure a fun and unforgettable shopping experience at Journeys while aiding with elementary store operations and meeting store and personal sales objectives and standards of performance.

JOB DUTIES

• Meet or exceed store and personal sales objectives and performance standards.
• Correctly execute all operation/loss prevention procedures in line with policies.
• Maintain store aesthetics and organization within the stockroom.
• Communicate store requirements effectively to store management.
• Stay updated with current fashion trends.
• Accurately complete all point of sale functions.
• Complete all designated tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Offer a fun, full-service shopping experience to all customers.
• Complete all required training.
• Understand and demonstrate the culture of Journeys to the team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous sales experience in retail is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Motivation to succeed in a dynamic retail environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to take on night and weekend shifts.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks such as climbing, reaching, bending, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
