Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Worcester, MA. This full-time role is available for immediate start and extends through the end of the school year, offering a dynamic environment where your expertise can make a lasting difference. As an SLP with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you'll work collaboratively with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Proven experience working as an SLP, preferably in a school setting
- Thorough understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Monitor and document student performance, adjusting approaches as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in ongoing communication with caregivers to foster student growth
